Rotten flooring underneath Alston’s Government Buildings has finally been addressed today as work begins on tearing out and replacing failing floorboards underneath the Meeting Hall.
Sirocco’s northeastern provinces have had their defences strengthened for the Christmas-New Year break in a move designed to counter any hostile attack, the government said late last evening.
Sirocco is to gain a number of national parks following legislation passed this afternoon in Alston.
Rathlyn, HB, Nov 14 – The capital-hopping Sirocco engaged in in February is set to occur again in reverse next week, with confirmation coming from the government that Rathlyn is to lose its capital status next Wednesday. Havilland, WS, Feb 20 – Sirocco officially has a new capital today as preparations for the shift to Rathlyn enter their final stages. Alston was officially succeeded by Havilland as federal capital at 12pm today, bringing an end to the city’s two-year capital status and ushering in a much quieter time for the capital. The National Capital District has also changed its name to Cambria as a result of the province losing its capital designation. Alston, NCD, Jul 15 – Sirocco has celebrated ten years of micronationalism today with the National Capital District expanding southwards… and a surprise rebirth of the Maran District.
